 Three Khenpos, Three Courses
The first course, beginning March 22th, 2010, and lasting for three months, will be a depth study on the "Way of the Bodhisattva" (Bodhicharyavatara), by Shantideva.
Course I: Bodhichitta as Presented in the Mahayana Classics
The Bodhicharyavatara (Way of the Bodhisattva) by Shantideva is held as one of the most exalted amongst the Mahayana Buddhist classics. There the development of relative and absolute bodhichittas, enlightened intention, is taught as a complete path to enlightenment. The development of bodhichitta involves both compassionate conduct and realization of the absolute nature of reality. |
