Meditation practices open to the public: Concise Red Tara Meditation every Sunday at 8 am. After the practice, one of our teachers is available to answer questions.
Photos/filming: Only allowed outside the temple. The interior of the temple can not be photographed or filmed.
No Smoking! It is not allowed to smoke in any area of the Buddhist center.
Costs: Visitation is free of fee, although contributions for the maintenance of the temple will be appreciated.

Occasionally, due to retreats and ceremonies, the visiting hours may be changed and entrance to the temple can be restricted. We appreciate your understanding. Presentation video: To enhance your visit, we suggest that you watch the eight-minute dvd about Khadro Ling in the video room next to the reception office.
Store: We have a store with books and religious articles. Working hours: Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 12 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pm. Saturday and Sunday: 9 am to 12 pm and 1 to 5 pm.
Food: There’s no restaurant at the Buddhist center, only a snack bar with soft drinks, water and chocolate.

Guides: In the interior of the temple there are stands with explanatory texts and a student volunteer who can answer questions. There are no guides available to accompany one in the visit to the external areas of the temple.
Accommodation at the temple: Accommodation is available only during events and retreats.
Access from Porto Alegre By car: Khadro Ling is located 7 kilometers from Três Coroas by dirt road. In case you come by car from Porto Alegre, follow the road RS-020 towards São Francisco de Paula. Turn on the left at the bus stop number 177. The sign for the Buddhist Center is on the right. If you come by the road RS-115, turn right at the first turn in Três Coroas, towards Águas Brancas neighborhood. Drive on the main street of the neighborhood, then 7 km more on the dirt road. The sign for “Centro Budista” will be on your left.
By bus: The Citral bus line has a bus line direct from Porto Alegre to Três Coroas. From the bus station in Três Coroas, it is necessary to get a taxi to the Buddhist center. If you don´t want to get a taxi, you can get a bus from Porto Alegre to São Francisco de Paula. You should get down at bus station number 177 (Rodeio Bonito) and walk for 2 km, following the signs to the center.
Airport: Três Coroas is two hours by car from the Salgado Filho airport in Porto Alegre.
